Bloom School Photoshoot

A few weeks ago I had the awesome opportunity to work with the lovely folk at Bloom School, a floral boutique located in the west end of Toronto. It was a two day event where the owner and extremely talented floral designer Becky, was teaching a few lucky souls on how to design and arrange floral bouquets and table arrangements. The atmosphere was light, cheerful, studious and wow the place smelled so good with all the different flowers and greens for the students to choose from (it didn't hurt that there were also plates of cookies free for the taking)!

After floating around in the workspace grabbing some candid photos of everyone hard at work, the fun part finally started! The beautiful model of the day Hilary got dressed in a gorgeous wedding gown by Sash & Bustle and away we went downstairs to photograph her modeling with the finished bouquets! The light was soft and ethereal, the model was radiant and whimsical, the flowers were exquisite and I really couldn't have asked for much more when it comes down to the checklist of "wants" during a photoshoot...sigh. Bloom School, I think I may have fallen in love with you.
